Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Glenn Hall and Phil Esposito have each autographed fellow HOFer Pierre Pilote’s team-signed 1965-66 Chicago Black Hawks game-used stick. There are 20 black marker autographs, including the likes of Pat Stapleton, Ken Wharram, Dough Mohns, Elmer Vasko, Eric Nesterenko, Ken Hodge and coach Billy Reay, along the front of the shaft of Pilote’s Northland Pro gamer, which has the three-time Norris Trophy winner’s original tape jobs on the knob and the blade. The Black Hawks captain’s No. “3” is handwritten below the knob, between the “Gunzo’s Sports Center” stamps on both sides of the shaft. Solid and crack-free shows nice game use.
Among the others who have signed are Chico Maki, Matt Ravlich, Lou Angotti, Fred Stanfield and Al MacNeil.
