Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
The man credited with bringing the “butterfly” style of netminding to the forefront, Patrick Roy remains the only player in history to garner the prestigious Conn Smythe Trophy an impressive three times. We have a stick used by the iconic superstar during his time with Colorado, a model of stick he used in the early-2000s. A KOHO 500 model with “P. Roy” stamped to the upper shaft, the original white tape is in place on the blade, lower paddle and knob, with black cloth wrap on the handle and upper shaft. Exhibiting nice game-use, solid and un-cracked, there are puck marks to the frontside blade and wear to the underside at the heel, with a bit of yellowing to the tape on the reverse blade. A few additional marks are visible on the paddle, with blue and red paint transfer over the knob. Lumber used by arguably the best goaltender in history will definitely enrich your stick collection.
