Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy had his third Conn Smythe and fourth Stanley Cup wins under his belt when he represented the North American All-Stars at the 2002 NHL All-Star Game in Los Angeles. Roy has signed his 2002 ASG jersey that he wore for the photo shoot for the game played at the Staples Center on Feb. 2, 2002, an 8-5 win for the World All-Stars. St. Patrick placed a bold black marker autograph across the right “3” in his No. 33 on the back of the jersey, which has the 2002 ASG patch sewn on the right breast, a Colorado Avalanche patch on the right shoulder and Canadian flag patch on the left shoulder. NHLPA and NHL logos are embroidered on the right hem and a size 58 goalie style flag tag remains in the back of the tie-neck collar. The 2002 ASG logo is on tagging sewn on the anchor patch of the fight strap inside the back and the “AAA236” patch sewn directly onto the fight strap denotes that the jersey was worn for the photo shoot. This jersey was acquired from a McDonald's Canada executive through the NHL's All-Star Game relationship with the "Ronald McDonald House Charities". It comes with an NHL/NHLPA COA.
