Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
The youngest U.S. born player to reach the 1000-point plateau, Patrick Kane owns a trophy case crammed full of awards including three Stanley Cups, the Conn Smythe, Art Ross, Hart Memorial, Calder Memorial and the Ted Lindsay Award. Hailing from the 2008-09 campaign in which he posted 70 points in 80 games and helped the Blackhawks get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2002, offered here is a stick used by Kane during the season. A Nike Bauer made Supreme One95 model with "P. Kane #88" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original black gripper over the handle/knob which has had Kane's number "88" penned, with the original white tape over the blade (a black box has been drawn and then coloured in on the forehand side). Still displaying its factory production sticker affixed to the underside of the shaft, the stick shows nice game-use with wear and numerous marks to the taped section of the blade including some red paint transfer, with additional marks, wear and surface abrasions/small chips to the finish on the shaft. The stick was apparently broken mid-shaft at some point, and has been fixed and remains solid.
