Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Forward Pat Verbeek enjoyed a truly outstanding career over 19 seasons and we have Verbeek’s game-worn jersey from the 1997-98 campaign when the man affectionately called “The Little Ball of Hate” was in his second of three seasons with the Dallas Stars, a year when he would notch a very fine 31 goals. Tagged in the collar as a CCM with a size “54” flap nearby, this gamer has marks scattered about the front, back, and on both sleeves, along with an unrepaired hole on the right sleeve. Verbeek has signed his name on the back number with clear, fine black marker, and the gamer comes with an LOA signed by a representative of the Dallas Stars and a COA signed by reps from MeiGray.
Also on this gamer are “Stars, CCM, and NHL” logos stitched on the hem, and puckering is noticeable on the nameplate and back number “16”. Pat Verbeek’s stats are indeed impressive; 1424 regular season NHL games played between 1982 and 2002, with 522 goals and 541 assists tallied and 2905 minutes spent in the sinbin. Great numbers from a great player.
