A Warner Brothers production directed by Michael Curtiz, the 1944 American war film Passage To Marseille starred Humphrey Bogart, Michèle Morgan and Claude Rains. Typical of the period with the allied forces battling the Nazis, and focusing on the resistance of the French, the fil grossed $2,157,000 domestically and $1,629,000 foreign, on a budget of $2,332,000. This window card for the picture was originally displayed in a "Polk Theatre" - possibly in Lakeland, Florida. At 14" x 22", Bogart is pictured along with cameos of other cast members and the title, with the Polk header above, glued to the cardstock poster as issued. There is wear and toning, with the glue used to affixed the Polk header visible beneath and on the reverse.
