Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Recognized as one of the greatest defencemen of the modern era, Nicklas Lidstrom represented only the Detroit Red Wings throughout his NHL career, and earned numerous accolades, including seven James Norris Trophies and four Stanley Cup Championships. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2015, offered here is this puck used by Lidstrom to score his 16th goal of the 2010-11 season on April 3rd, 2011 against the Minnesota Wild on home ice at Joe Louis Arena. Coming with twenty (20) seconds left in the first (1st) period and putting the Red Wings ahead 2-0 at that time, the marker was assisted by Henrik Zetterberg and would serve as his 16th and final goal of the season as well as the 253rd of the 264 he would score in his career. Featuring a Red Wings logo over the front that has been partially covered by a HockeyTown Authentics hologram which is numbered "53102". Sporting a now toned piece of white tape over the reverse that is covering the NHL logo and displays written particulars about the goal, the puck displays well and shows overall light game use via some scratches and scuffs while coming accompanied by a HockeyTown Authentics COA with a matching hologram affixed.
