Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Winger Nelson Emerson wore this Team Canada jersey in pre-tournament games leading up to the 1998 World Championships in Switzerland. Tagged in the collar as a "Bauer Pro" with a size "56" flap nearby, this gamer has the embroidered tackle twill Hockey Canada emblem sitting square on the chest with a flowing sublimated design at the waist, along with the double tackle-twill number "15" on the back and sleeves and an airknit nameplate holding the screened-on "Emerson" lettering. Condition-wise sees a material pull on the front, a number of marks line the sleeves, and a couple of small, unrepaired holes sit between the back numbers. Puckering is on the team crest and back number, and some faint bleeding shows on the "Emerson" lettering. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
Emerson would collect 2 goals and an assist in 6 games at the '98 Worlds.
