One the eve of the greatest Stanley Cup dynasty in hockey history, the Montreal Canadiens finished second to Gordie Howe and Detroit during the 1954-55 NHL season, and were beaten by the Red Wings in a hard fought seven game final. The original metal runner at top is intact, with the pages showing toning, edge tears and some minor staining, with a rip through each page at the top beneath the runner. The last page is also detached, with tears and some of the upper right corner missing.
