Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
A charter member of the National Hockey League that set up shop way beforehand in 1909, the Montreal Canadiens lay claim to the most Stanley Cup championships in NHL history with a total of twenty-four (24) and have had some of the best players in the history of the game to don their famed bleu, blanc et rouge. Offered here, we present this collection of six (6) Canadiens practice-worn and practice-issued pro stock jerseys that were worn in various on-ice training camp/practice sessions and date to the eras of the mid-2000s up to the early-2010s. All made by Reebok and sporting "Made in Canada"/size tags affixed to their inner collars, most also have had a jock tag sewn on over the lower front left side with a matching size designation on it while others have the size embroidered directly into the front hem. Including sizes "56" (x2 - one red that is new with tags plus one white), "58" (x2 - one red and one navy), "58G" (x1 - black) and "60G" (x1 - red), none of the jerseys feature player identifiers on or in them while all have been decorated over their front with Montreal's famed "CH" team crest. Also all featuring fight straps on their interiors plus Reebok logo patches over the left breast/ reverse neckline and NHL shield crests at the bottom of the collars, the jerseys shows aspects of wear through things like fabric snags, board burns, small unrepaired holes, stick marks, pilling and coloured board/post paint transfers while some also show things such as spot stains and general filth from use and storage.
