Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
The Vancouver Canucks travelled back in time to honor the old Vancouver Millionaires team during the 2012-13 season and this gorgeous alternate gamer is the one that was worn by center Maxim Lapierre. Size 58 flag tag sits in the back of the neck of this beauty with a cream felt and burgundy embroidery V crest on the front. Lapierre’s number 40 is handwritten in black marker on the fight strap and a team Set 2 2012-13 tag is applied above that. Game wear includes marks on the left front tail and a few light black marks on the bottom of the 0 on the back. Comes in its original box along with a Canucks LOA and other documents. There is an area of reddish mark/discoloration on the left upper portion of the number 4 on the back.
The Canucks COA indicates that Lapierre wore this jersey in the second and third periods of Vancouver’s game against Detroit on March 16, 2013.
