Matt D’Agostini’s journey through the NHL is a testament to his perseverance and versatility.
Selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the sixth round (190th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry
Draft, D’Agostini carved out a professional career spanning 321 NHL games. He
made his debut with Montreal during the 2007-08 season. After parts of three seasons with the
Canadiens, he was traded to the St. Louis Blues, where he had his most productive season in
2010-11, posting 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists) in 82 games. D’Agostini went on to play for the
New Jersey Devils, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres, demonstrating his adaptability and
contributing at both ends of the ice. His career also included a standout performance with the
Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL, where he was a key member of the 2007 Calder Cup-winning
team.
This size 56 jersey, manufactured by Reebok, features the NHL crest on the front neckline and
the Reebok crest on the back. Inside the neckline, a “1” is noted in black marker, identifying the
jersey as part of the team’s set 1. The jersey includes the Montreal Canadiens’ centennial patch
on the right shoulder,. The number “36” appears in white over navy tackle twill on both arms and
the back showcases white numbers over a navy plate, with “D’AGOSTINI” displayed in matching
white over navy tackle twill on the nameplate. A team hologram is affixed to the bottom
of the “6” on the back.
The Montreal Canadiens game-worn jersey program number “A01323” is presented both on the included team LOA and on the team patch on the inside hem of the jersey. Game wear only includes a subtle mark at the bottom of the back of the jersey which remains in superb condition. A securely affixed fight strap
is located inside the jersey. The jersey’s design pays homage to the iconic 1912-13 Montreal Canadiens sweater, one of the rare times the club’s design did not feature the classic “CH” logo.
