A modern day NHL journeyman, seeing action in over 1,200 contests with 10 different clubs, Matthieu Schneider won a Stanley Cup championship with Montreal in 1993 and also represented the US internationally. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the two-time All-Star in his rookie season of 1989-90. A Maska label is affixed to the collar with handwritten “54” sizing, with an embroidered CCM crest over the reverse hem. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Schneider” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Sporting moderate use, there are a few washed out dark marks and paint transfer marks over the sleeves, with some additional marks on the lower front and light discolouration beneath the front band and neckline. This set of jerseys was worn by the Habs earlier-on in the 1989-90 season.
Addendum; according to additional research, Schneider wore #18 in the 1989-90 season and switched to #8 in 1990-91 when he gave the #18 to Denis Savard.
