Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Drafted first overall by Pittsburgh in 2003 and seeing 21 games of action his rookie season with the club in 2003-04, Marc-Andre Fleury throughout his career is just the third goaltender to ever reach the 500 victories mark in the NHL, and the fourth goaltender to reach 1,000 games. From the season that started it all, we have a signed stick used by the three-time Stanley Cup champion in 2003-04. A Koho model in Pens colour scheme with "Fleury #29" stamped to the upper shaft, the original white tape is in place on the knob and upper shaft, and black tape to the blade (a few strands towards the heel of the blade appear to be missing). Moderate game-use is exhibited on the lumber, with wear to the blade including the underside and at the heel, with additional wear and red goal post paint transfer to the taped upper shaft and knob. There are also a few dents to the shaft. Fleury has signed the blade near the heel in black marker.
