Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Coaching the Alaska Aces of the ECHL to a Kelly Cup Championship in the 2010-2011, Brent Thompson saw action in a total of 121 NHL games throughout his career, including playing parts of three seasons in Los Angeles. We have a Kings jersey worn by the Calgary native in 1991-92, where he appeared in 31 games, including 4 in the postseason. A Maska Air-Knit label and size “54” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse lower hem. Styled with an attractive and textured Kings’ team crest, the solid black V-neck has been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with “Thompson” across the upper reverse in matching material. The jersey also sports the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right breast, and Kings’ 25th anniversary patch over the left shoulder. A few light marks are visible over the lower front, with a small stain visible on the NHL 75th crest. There are also faint burns over the left sleeve, with the intact fight strap showing signs of repeated washings.
