Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

Exhibiting durability along with an offensive talent rarely seen in defenceman, Steve Duchesne would grace NHL bluelines for 16 seasons, with over 752 points including 227 goals spanning his 1113 regular season games. The Quebec native also hoisted a Stanley Cup with Detroit in 2002. Hailing from just his second season in the NHL and his sophomore outing with Los Angeles, we have a signed Kings jersey worn by Duchesne in 1987-88, where he appeared in 71 games. A Maska label remains affixed to the collar, with the jersey measuring-out to roughly a size 54. Styled with a gorgeous embroidered crown team crest, the purple V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Duchesne” over the affixed nameplate in single gold twill.
Surviving in gorgeous condition, a few random marks are visible along with a minor stain to the team crest, with fabric pulls over the upper reverse. Duchesne has signed the reverse “8” in black marker, with just some very minimal bleeding to the signature.
