Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Seeing NHL action in only a pair of seasons due to injury, netminder Gary Laskoski signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings in 1982, sent down to New Haven after playing in just 13 games in 1983-84, with 22 final games played with the AHL club before retiring. We have a Kings jersey worn by the Ottawa native in 1982-83, where he appeared in 46 games. A partially-detached Maska label sits along the collar near a laundering tag with “50” sizing, with an embroidered Maska crest over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a gorgeous embroidered crown team crest, the purple V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Laskoski” over the affixed nameplate in single gold twill.
The fight strap has been cut, with marks visible over the front band and sleeves, with heavy pilling over the back of the collar. There is also a small hole near the left cuff, with a few minor and faint stains present.
