Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Splendid piece from the Rockies' first year in Denver after moving from Kansas City, this mesh jersey is by Champion with a company tag in the neck indicating size 46. The Rockies logo on the front, the number "12" on the back and sleeves, and the shoulder graphics are all screened-on. These are the first set of uniforms the Rockies wore in the first games of the '76-77 season before receiving and donning their "regular" jerseys. Forward Nelson Pyatt played for parts of three seasons in Colorado and wore this number 12 shirt. It shows light but definite game use with a couple of stick marks on the arms and a solid blue slash mark across the right arm number. Without a fight strap and in terrific condition, it'll fit nicely into a Colorado/defunct team jersey collection.
