A couple of Post Cereal premiums always on the radar of collectors, we have a collection of 1971-72 Post Shooters, 1972-73 Post Action Transfers and 1982-83 Post Cereal cards, along with 12 1981-82 Post NHL Stars in Action albums. Included, we have 31 Post Shooters, with 4 for Bobby Orr (2 complete – one of each colour, and 2 with broken bases) and a pair featuring Jacques Plante (1 of each colour). Next, there’s 46 still sealed 1972-73 Post Transfers of #3 (40 in clear plastic, 6 in white paper), 58 still sealed of #6 (all white paper wrapping) and a few others not sealed. This is followed by a complete set of 1982-83 Post cards (separated) plus an additional set with some cards still sealed, with an additional 49 panels of mixed clubs. As an added bonus, there are also 5 1970-71 Post hockey mini-sticks (2 Laperriere, 1 Ullman, 1 Bucyk and 1 blank).
The majority of the Post Shooters remain in pleasing condition, with light wear to the decals, with examples for each player present including a few duplicates in opposing colours, with just Shooters for Ellis, Henderson, Kurtenbach and Tremblay missing. The still-sealed Post transfers all remain in wonderful condition, with a few of the packages exhibiting tears, while the Post hockey cards remain in unperforated team sets, with the duplicates as follows; Oilers (2), Whalers (4), Kings (2), Red Wings (3), Blues (2), Islanders (2), Blackhawks (2), Bruins (2), Flames (2), Canucks (5), North Stars (2), Penguins (3), Jets (3), Rockies (3), Capitals (2), Sabres (2), Flyers (2), Maple Leafs (2), Rangers (3) and Canadiens (1). The Post hockey mini-sticks all show wear, with the Bucyk example broken halfway up the shaft.
