Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin was named the most outstanding player in the NHL by hs peers for the third straight season in 2009-10, the year the NHLPA honor was renamed the Ted Lindsay Award. Ovechkin’s signed 2009-10 CCM game-used stick with his original tape jobs on the knob and blade is from a third straight 50-goal season, his fourth in his first five seasons in the league. Ovi placed a silver paint pen autograph on the untaped portion of the blade towards the heel. “Ovi 8” factory graphics sit on the shaft and the Capitals captain’s No. “8” is handwritten in black marker on the knob. Comes with a Capitals COA dated December 31, 2009 (12-31-09).
A Capitals hologram sticker below the knob displays a number that corresponds to the COA. Game wear includes black marks on the tape job on the blade.
