Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

HOFer Mark Recchi’s 553rd NHL goal was particularly memorable because it was a crucial one for the Boston Bruins in the 2010 Winter Classic at Fenway Park. This is the InGlasCo NHL Winter Classic Boston 2010 official game puck that Recchi scored on Philadelphia’s Michael Leighton to tie the game at 1-1 with 2:18 left in the third period, allowing the Bruins to win it on Marco Sturm’s overtime goal. The goal pucks from the game and 12 game-used pucks from the 2010 Winter Classic were handed directly from an on-ice official for immediate authentication. MeiGray hologram sticker affixed to one side of the puck has registry number WC1080 that corresponds to the accompanying LOA and MeiGray COR.
Comes with a display case with “Mark Recchi No. 553” plaque on the front of the wood base.
Recchi had 577 goals, 956 assists and 1,533 points in 1,652 NHL games. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017.
