Hailing from the original expansion era of the NHL through the mid-1970s, we have a wonderful hockey program and publication collection of 133, highlighted by 7 late-1960s/early-1970s Stanley Cup playoffs programs. Featuring a large concentration of Montreal programs within the collection, we have 16 oversized programs from the late-1960s and 32 oversized examples from the early-1970s, with each having its original insert contained the game’s line-up. This is followed by an additional 55 programs from the early-to-mid-1970s, along with 23 issues of Sports Illustrated from the early-1970s, highlighted by covers featuring Babe Ruth, Pele, Jack Nicklaus and Hank Aaron (#715 cover 1974). The playoffs programs include; 1968-69 Semifinals Game 1 Boston 3 vs Montreal 2, 1970-71 Semifinals Montreal vs Minnesota, 1971-72 Quarterfinals New York vs Montreal, 1972-73 Finals Montreal vs Chicago, 1972-73 Semifinals Montreal vs Philadelphia (2) and 1975-76 Finals Montreal vs Philadelpia. The majority of the programs exhibit light to moderate handling wear, with tight staples along with intact line-ups, with some in lower condition having creasing, toning and surface wear. The SI issues also sport mailing labels.
