Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

Part of the NHL’s All-Star Game festivities in 2002, an “All-Star Celebrity Challenge” game took place on Jan 30th that featured celebrities teaming up with NHL alumni members, with the money raised from the event for Hockey’s All-Star Kids and the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s “Bruckheimer’s Bad Boys” took on a squad designated “Kelley’s Heroes”, with Kiefer Sutherland, Rod Gilbert, Chris Jericho, Jari Kurri and Cuba Gooding Jr representing the former, and Stephen Baldwin, Peter Stastny, Jason Priestly, Pat LaFontaine and Lochlyn Munro representing the latter. We have the jersey made for Munro, with it most likely seeing action in the contest. A size “52” label sits affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with a gorgeous NHL shield crest, the NHL All-Star Game patch has been placed over the right breast, with “Munro” over the nameplate in dual-layer tackle twill. These jerseys match the examples worn in the NHL All-Star Game, minus the country and team patches that appear over the shoulders. This example has also had the NHLPA crest covered over. Munro has signed within the reverse “4”, with the jersey in gorgeous condition exhibiting no game-wear.
