Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
First receiving seasoning in the WHL with the Portland Winter Hawks, Richard Zednik spent over a dozen seasons in the NHL, with his time mostly split between Washington and Montreal. We have a Canadiens jersey that was worn by the Czech winger in 2003-04. A label with “56” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Zednik” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. A number of dark marks are present throughout including a large stick mark across the team crest, with burns over each elbow section and the left shoulder. There is also a small bit of paint transfer over the right elbow. A patch from Meigray numbered “B04142” sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the garment is a "White 2nd Regular Season" example.
