A unique gathering of diamond specimens, we have a large collection of 350+ baseball items, with a number of Montreal Expos examples present. Included are postcards, calendars, media guides, magazines, pinbacks, cards, books, scrapbooks and much more. Highlighted by two sets of Yankees photo packs (different years – one with the original envelope) from the 1960s including Mantle, we also have a rare 1957 Mickey Mantle magazine with a handwritten notation that it was purchased at Yankee Stadium in 1960. There are over 70 publications with many vintage (Complete Baseball 1953, Official Baseball Annual 1963, Baseball Illustrated 1968, etc) along with examples regarding collecting (Tuff Stuff, Vintage Collector, Baseball Cards, etc), with a handful of Baseball Digest’s from the 1980s. The Expos items include a few 1970s programs, a 1982 Media Guide, a desirable first-year Yearbook (1969) along with later editions from 1982, 1983, 1984 (2) and 1985 (2), followed by Expos calendars from 1986, 1988, 1991 (3), 1993 and 1994. There is also a Steiner Gary Carter career stats photo (8” x 10”) and “Camera Day” Expos team photos from 1993 and 1995. There are also approx. 90 Expos postcards from assorted years (1970/80s), along with a complete set of 1986 Expos Provigo, with the cards still in the original 14-panels of 2-cards each with coupon. Next, we have 5 vintage scrapbooks with newspaper clippings (1950s/60s), a dozen hard and soft cover baseball books and approx. 130 1984 Fun Foods baseball pins. Rounding out the lot, we have around 60 low-grade baseball cards (mostly commons) including 9 1952 Topps (low numbers) with Feller and Snider, 47 1955 Topps, a pair of beat 1952 Bowman and a few others, including a 1958 Topps Frank Robinson. There are also 10 random exhibit cards including Bresnahan (HOF Exhibit) and Minoso, half a dozen pinbacks including Mantle and DiMaggio (poor condition), a 9 ¼” Yankee Stadium souvenir bat from the 1950s, half a dozen Baseball Digest’s from the 1960s and much more!
