A treasure-trove of pertinent and historic NHL statistics and information, we have a wonderful collection of vintage and modern guides and publications totaling 74, with a number of desirable not-often-seen examples included. Highlighted by a copy of Parade Sportive “Canadiens” from 1945-46 along with the harder-to-find Official National Hockey League Annual from the same season, there are also Sweet Caporal guides from 1939-40 and 1940-41 (along with an original mailing envelope), Hendy guides for 1948 and 1951, Official NHL guides from 1944, 1947, 1948 and 1949, NHL Press and Radio guides for 1959-60 (signed by Gerry McNeil) and 1962-63 and the Official Record Book for 1917-58. Next, we have NHL Annuals for 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1974 and 1976, AHL Yearbooks for 1959-60, 1961-62, 1962-63 (2) and 1964-65, International Ice Hockey guides for 1980-81 and 1985-86 (2) along with an NHL guide from 1980-81 with Gretzky cover. This is followed by NHL team guides for the Nordiques from 1981-82, 1982-83, 1983-84 and 1987-88 and the Jets from their inaugural NHL season in 1979-80. WHA examples are present from 1975-76 for Calgary, Cincinnati, Phoenix, and Minnesota, along with a Mariners guide from 1974-75, Oilers from 1978-79 and Nords from 1976-77. Rounding out the lot, we have Pro Hockey books from 1974-75, 1976-77, 1977-78 and 1978-79 and a complete run of NHL Official Guide and Record Books from 1984-85 to 2005, along with copies from 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2016. Other publications include a WHL guide from 1982-83, A CCM brochure from 1970 featuring Bobby Hull, NHL schedules for 1973-74 and 1980-81, a 1981-82 Maple Leafs Fact Book and more! The condition throughout the collection varies as one would expect, with the earlier publications exhibiting more wear, with the NHL Press and Radio guides both having detached but present covers.
