Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Held in Oslo, Hamar and Lillehammer in Norway from May 1st to 16th, the 1999 IIHF World Championships witnessed the Czech Republic take home the gold, with Canada finishing fourth. Originating from the personal collection of Team Canada member Stephane Quintal, we have his Team Canada jersey worn in the tournament – his only time representing his country – where he scored 5 points in 10 games including 3 goals. Nike size “56” labeling remains affixed to the collar, with an IIHF patch over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the Hockey Canada team crest with “Canada” embroidered, the mesh/knit sweater has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with team patches over each shoulder. With just a few random marks present, the jersey remains in wonderful condition. A signed LOA from Stephane Quintal will accompany.
