Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Forever a part of the rich lore of the beloved Toronto Maple Leafs with his famous 10-point night in 1976, Darryl Sittler spent a dozen seasons proudly representing the mighty maple leaf, with his number 27 retired by the club in 2016. We have – according to our consignor – a Leafs jersey worn by the HOFer during late-1980s alumni games. Maska Ultrafil labeling with handwritten “50” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the famous Leafs team crest with embroidered “Toronto Maple Leafs”, the vintage V-neck has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Sittler” across the nameplate in single white twill. With just a few random marks present including a small faint stain over the lower front band, the jersey remains in wonderful condition.
