Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Celebrating the Montreal Canadiens fourth consecutive Stanley Cup championship in 1979, we have a stick that was issued to Pierre Larouche that’s been team-signed by the 1978-79 Canadiens, along with a Guy Lafleur signed career stats stick. The Larouche stick is a KOHO Custom Pro 221 model with “Larouche” stamped-on, with the front side of the shaft shaved-down to accommodate 19 ballpoint signatures. Signers include HOFers Dryden, Shutt, Robinson, Lemaire, Langway, Gainey and Serge Savard, along with Mondou, Lambert, Tremblay, Houle, Lupien, Connor and others. The signatures display well, with just light wear to the stick. The Lafleur career stick feature’s wonderful graphics in Habs colours, with career stats and accomplishments listed, with beautiful depictions of Guy on both sides of the blade for each of the teams he represented. Lafleur has added a gorgeous silver marker signature including his number across the blade, along with a personalization along the toe section.
