Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

Parkhurst's lineup in 1962-63, for the third consecutive season, featured Detroit, Montreal and Toronto players, some of whom for some reason, appeared on two different cards, with both of the Gordie Howe examples not present here, with the Tally (checklist) Card the other no-show. Majority of the cards, some three dozen, have either a light crease or enough corner/edge wear to send them to the VG or VG+ world, with most notables being #s 1-Harris, 4-Mahovlich, 14-Shack, 16-Bower, 38-Richard, 48-Geoffrion (VG+), 49-Plante (VG+), 53-Geoffrion, 54-JC Tremblay RC and the Zip Contest card (VG+). Three EX-MT standouts lead condition-wise; 21-Ullman, 27-Fonteyne and 37-Goyette. Eleven other cards are also crease-free but with corner/edge wear rendering them either VG-EX or VG-EX+. To mention are Hall of Famers 7-Horton, 15-Keon, 32-Delvecchio, 39-Beliveau, 42-Moore and 50-Johnson, as well as 47-Rousseau RC and #s 12, 19, 40 and 41. Two cards do not make it to VG; 18-Mahovlich (G) and 36-Godfrey (G). Yet another classic Parkhurst issue to consider.
