Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Teaming with Boris Mikhailov and Valeri Kharlamov to form one of the most feared lines in hockey, Vladimir Petrov spent 14 seasons representing CSKA Moscow, with gold medals won at the 1972 and 1976 Olympic Games. We have a stick used by the Krasnogorsk native in the late-1970s/early-1980s. A KOHO 201 International Pro Hook model, “Petrov” and “16” have been handwritten over the upper shaft along with “Russia” and “USSR”. The stick retain’s the white tape over the handle and black over the blade, with most of the striping accent intact. Heavy use is exhibited, with considerable wear to the lower shaft and blade, especially along the underside. There are also a few small areas of red paint transfer.
