Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A product of the University of Minnesota, Alex Goligoski was drafted 61st overall by Pittsburgh, later winning a cup with the club in 2009. We have a Penguins third jersey that was worn by the Grand Rapids native in 2008-09. A CCM label with “54” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the Penguins team crest that first saw use in 1968, the tie-neck jersey has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Goligoski” across the affixed mesh nameplate in matching material. The team patch sits over the inside hem, beneath the Dana Heinz signed fight strap. Exhibiting just a few random marks, the throwback-style jersey remains in beautiful condition.
