Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Recording his first career fight against Tie Domi in only his second NHL game, Eric Godard spent seasons with the Islanders, Flames and Penguins, winning a Stanley Cup with the latter in 2009. We have a Penguins jersey that was worn by Godard during the 2008-09 regular season. A CCM label with “58+” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the familiar Penguins team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid white v-neck has been embellished with oversized and textured double-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Godard” across the affixed mesh nameplate in matching material. The team patch sits over the inside hem, beneath the Dana Heinz signed fight strap. With just very light use exhibited, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition.
