A Stanley Cup winner with Pittsburgh in 2009, Matt Cooke also won gold with Team Canada at the 2004 World Championships in the Czech Republic. Hailing from the 2008-09 NHL season, we have a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey that was worn by Cooke during the 2009 Stanley Cup playoffs. A CCM label with “58” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the familiar Penguins team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid black v-neck has been embellished with oversized and textured triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Cooke” across the affixed mesh nameplate in matching material. The team patch sits over the inside hem, beneath the Dana Heinz signed fight strap. A few marks are visible over the team crest, with additional examples over each sleeve. There is also pilling over each cuff and paint transfer near the left elbow, with a single team repair over the lower left sleeve.
