Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Demolished two decades ago, the famous Boston Garden housed both the Bruins and Celtics during the venue’s glory days, and was witness to a number of impressive concerts including the Beatles, Elvis and The Rolling Stones. We have a pair of connected orange seats from the Garden, ready for placement within your trophy room! At just over 32” in height, the solid orange seats feature the original cast construction with inserted wooden slats along with a single right arm rest, with “1” stenciled in white along the top of one seat back, “2” on the other. A small metal plaque has been added to seat “1” listing the particulars, with some of the black ink worn. We should also note that special shipping arrangements might be required.
Wear to the red finish is present over both the metal and wood components, along with some minor rusting/oxidation, mostly over the lower sections.
