Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
One of hockey’s most feared ensembles, the Production Line featured HOFers Gordie Howe, Ted Lindsay and Sid Abel, with the Motor City trio playing in tandem throughout the late-1940s. We have a vintage skate signed by the three legends, accompanied by an attractive display case. Originating from the collection of Andre Daoust, the skate is a right-footed Nestor Johnson Hi-Speed model with intact lacing, with both the blade and boot in amazing condition. All three have signed in a vertical row on the left side of the boot (inner side), with wear to each signature from age/rubbing, especially the Howe example. The 17” x 7 ½” x 11” display case feature’s a black wood base with slit to mount the skate, with a square plexiglass cover. There is also a small inserted plaque that reads “Production Line”, also listing the members. A COA will accompany.
