Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Bobby Hull, hockey's all-time greatest left winger, is featured in this, fittingly, group of nine cardboard collectibles. The oldest is Bobby's 1966-67 Topps All-Star card (#125), with multiple creases sending it to F. Much more pleasing is his regular card (#113) from the following season, with the crease-free example coming in at VG-EX+. O-Pee-Chee is represented by the seven others, with '69-70 #70 at VG+ and '70-71 #15 at VG carrying the most weight. All-Star cards from '68-69 (#204) and '69-70 (#216) display as VG examples but are lowered by tape stains/marks on the backs, while 261-All-Star from '71-72 is VG. Hull's Winnipeg Jets card #336 from OPC's '72-73 issue is also VG, while completing the lot is Bobby's last NHL card from his playing days, with #185 from '79-80 in EX condition.
