Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Featuring the 1995 Indianapolis 500 Winner, we have a race suit worn by legendary driver Jacques Villeneuve. This race suit was custom-made by stand21 to Jacques' specifications and was worn by Villeneuve during the 2009 FIA GT championship race weekend in which he drove a Gravity Racing International-run Mosler MT900R in the G3 invitation class in the FIA GT Championship's premier event, alongside Vincent Radermacker, Ho-Pin Tung and Loris de Sordi. “Jacques Villeneuve” appears embroidered onto the belt, with sizing numbers handwritten along the reverse. Solid black with orange and white accents and stand21 emblems, sponsorship patches are located over the front from Michelin and Gravity, with the FIA year of manufacture label (2009) over the back neckline. The suit is from Jacques Villeneuve’s personal collection and will come with his signed LOA.
