Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
The dominant force throughout the 1960s which included winning the Conn Smythe in 1965, Jean Beliveau guided the Habs to Stanley Cup championships in 1964-65, 1965-66, 1967-68 and 1968-69 under his captaincy. We have a signed stick used by the iconic HOFer during the mid-1960s. A CCM Pattern Made Custom Pro model, “Beliveau” appears over the upper shaft along with his famous “4”, with the original tape over both the blade and knob retained, with some tape added to both extremities of the blade, as well as the upper shaft to rectify a crack and missing sliver. Void of its original striping accent, nice use is exhibited on the lumber, with wear and marks to the lower shaft and blade, with a crack visible at the toe section. Jean added an attractive black marker signature with dedication on the upper shaft, and it displays beautifully.
