Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
The United States claimed their second Olympic silver medal in men’s hockey in eight years in Vancouver. Jamie Langenbrunner’s 2010 Winter Olympics Team USA game-worn captain’s jersey is photo-matched to a 6-1 win over Norway in the preliminary round on Feb. 18. The black mark near the star on the left sleeve and the red mark farther down both show in Getty Images photo #96845385 taken during the only game Team USA wore these white jerseys in Vancouver. Nike logo and size 60 are screened in the back of the neck above the IIHF tagging. MeiGray registry tagging is sewn inside the rear tail. More game wear shows in marks and board burns on the sleeves. Comes with a USA Hockey LOA.
There are yellowish-stains, most likely sweat, on the front tail and upper left sleeve.
“USA Hockey MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program” patch displays registry number USA00615, which corresponds to the number on the LOA.
