Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A veteran of over two decades of professional hockey, Petr Klima is best remembered for scoring the triple-overtime winner in Game 1 of the 1990 Stanley Cup finals. We have a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey that was worn by the Czech in 1996-97, his only season with the club, where he appeared in 9 games. Labeling from Starter along with a “54-R” size swatch with handwritten “12” sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Klima” across the nameplate in matching material. There is very light pilling to the interior beneath the fight strap, with marks present over the lower and upper front, with larger examples over the right sleeve. A hologram has been affixed to the fight strap, with a matching COA to accompany.
