Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A recipient of the King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 2001 for his honorable charity work, we have an Edmonton Oilers jersey worn by Shjon Podein during the 1993-94 NHL regular season. A Maska Airknit label with size “56” fly tag sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with the iconic oil drop team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with three-layer tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Podein” across the nameplate in single blue twill. Marks are present over the lower front and sleeves, with burns near each elbow section along with a few small resulting holes. There are also team repairs over each sleeve, with some fraying to the reverse number’s threading along with minor pilling over the reverse tail. A COR from Meigray will accompany, along with a team LOA (both are laminated).
