Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Canada's performance at the 1985 World Ice Hockey Championships in Prague was its best in 23 years as Team Canada took home the silver medal behind the host Czechoslovakians who ended the USSR's 5-year reign as champions, the Soviets having to settle for bronze. Gold rings were given to Team Canada members, which featured Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman, Ron Francis, Larry Murphy and other stellar players, as special keepsakes and this memento features the updated Team Canada logo on the tableau while arched above it is "Team Canada Equipe" and "Prague" below. Stamped "10K" on the interior of the band, the size 11 ring exhibits very moderate wear with some scratching to the outer band, with additional general wear present.
