This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
The 16th overall selection in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Steve Bernier has spent seasons in Buffalo, New Jersey and Vancouver among others, the Quebec City native has also represented Canada at the World Junior Championships. This Canucks jersey was worn by Bernier during the 2008-09 NHL regular season. CCM sizing sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the club’s original hockey stick team crest, the solid blue V-neck has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. We should also note that “Bernier” and “18” have been handwritten in marker on the fight strap. Just faint burns over each elbow section are present, with some loose threading around the numbers in spots. A MeiGray patch numbered “F09617” has been placed over the inside hem, with a matching LOA from the Canucks to accompany.
