Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A unique alternate style that saw use for only three seasons, we have a Canadiens’ "1945-46 Vintage Set" jersey that was worn by Francis Bouillon in 2003-04. Size tagging sits along the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the famous CH team crest that’s been partially embroidered, the solid white garment has been accented with oversized tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the vintage “V” crest just above the right breast. Game-wear includes dark marks over the lower front along with additional marks and board burns over each sleeve, with some pilling to the interior behind the team crest. A patch from MeiGray numbered “B10093” is affixed to the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White Vintage Set 2 - Worn 11/25, 12/16, 1/17, 2/1, 2/26".
