Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A first round choice at the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Markus Naslund would spend parts of 15 seasons in the NHL, with 5 All-Star Game appearances including being selected to the First All-Star Team 3 consecutive seasons, from 2002-04. We have a signed 2001 All-Star Game Team World jersey that was worn by the Swede in his first All-Star tilt, in 2001. CCM tagging along with a size 54 fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and NHLPA crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive NHL shield crest in black and silver with the 2001 All-Star Game crest placed just over the right breast, the solid red sweater has been accented with triple-twill numbers. A Canucks patch sits on the right shoulder, with a Swedish flag symbolizing nationality over the left. A COA from the NHLPA will accompany.
Naslund has signed the garment between the reverse numbers in black marker, and the signature exhibits well. With just a few marks over the lower front, perfect for denoting game-use, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. We should also note that the fight strap has an NHL inventory code of “AAB461” sewn-on, with this indicating the garments status as being one of 5 issued jerseys for the event.
