Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

Receiving his pre-NHL seasoning with the Vancouver Giants of the WHL, defenceman Cody Franson was drafted in the third round, 79th overall, and he's spent the bulk of his career with Toronto thus far. This Maple Leafs jersey was worn by the BC native in the "Hall of Fame Game" in 2014-15. Size tagging sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive Maple Leafs team crest with felt texturing, the solid blue tie-neck has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers in matching material, with the HOF Game crest residing over the right breast. Just a few marks are present, with some staining over the lower front band, with this most likely occurring outside of game-action. A MeiGray patch numbered “L06040” sits over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the garment is a "White - Hockey Hall of Fame Game w/HHOF Patch 11/14/14" example. Franson scored the lone Leafs goal that evening (Nov 14th 2014) in a 2-1 loss to the Pens.
