Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

From a single collector will go this hoard – what fun it will be for you to sift/sort through! A near set of 1962 Civil War News is curiously missing the first eight cards but is mostly EX to EX-MT. Also noteworthy are (56/71) ’58 TV Westerns (VG average), (56 of 66) ’61 Pirates Bold cards, dominated by crease-free EX-or-better examples, a complete 80-card ’59 Fleer Indian Trading Cards set (VG-VG+ ave.), (58/88) ’58 Topps Zorro cards (VG+ ave.), (49/50) ’59 Popeye (CHIX(?))(EX+ ave.), (47/60) ’57 Topps Robin Hood (VG ave.), (65/80) Davy Crockett Series 1 (hammered low grade), (48/50) Adventures of Radisson (F-G ave.) and some three dozen Beatles cards (mostly Series 1 OPC and EX-MT or better). Oh, and there are over 50 EX-or-better ’56 Adventure cards, highlighted by an EX-MT hockey example and a six-pack of boxers including Marciano (EX-MT (OC)). Other “entries” are less plentiful and/or low grade, with further details on our website. What a stash!
Other notables are Parkhurst wrestling cards (60 total from two different sets but real low grade), three dozen EX-ish ’57 Topps Isolation Booth, two dozen crease-free Tarzen cards (’66 Philadelphia), three dozen ’56 Topps Flags of the World (crease-free EX) and two dozen decent ’59 Topps Fabian cards. The rest will be a grab-bag and includes a smattering from still numerous other issues, more often than not in lower grades, but sure to procure a few pleasant surprises, along with, like we alluded to at the top, F-U-N!.....along with additional break-up value.
