Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Brian Skrudland’s 1998-99 Dallas Stars game-worn Stanley Cup Finals jersey is one of only six jerseys from the 1999 final against Buffalo that were made available to the public by the Stars. Stars players kept both their white and green sets, but there were three players who wore two sets of jerseys per game, goalie Ed Belfour and forwards Mike Keane and Skrudland. MeiGray was able to sell one home white jersey and one road green jersey of each of these three players. The 1999 Stanley Cup Final patch is sewn on the right breast and the “Dallas Stars 1998-99 Stanley Cup Collection MeiGray Group” team patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Comes with a Stars LOA and a MeiGray COR.
The LOA signed by Stars president Jim Lites states that Skrudland wore this jersey during the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals. A small mark on the team crest on the front is the only obvious sign of game wear. The Dallas Stars logo is embroidered on the left rear tail and CCM and NHL logos are embroidered on the right rear tail.
