Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Appearing in a pair of seasons for the original Winnipeg Jets in the mid-1990s including their last, Mike Eastwood would spend the bulk of his career with St. Louis, with a final swan song season spent in Pittsburgh. This Pens Set 1 away jersey was worn by the Ottawa native during his final NHL season in 2003-04. Size tagging sits along the collar including handwritten “20”, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the Pens team crest that saw use from 2002-2016, the solid white V-neck has been accented with textured tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder along with the team patch affixed to the inside hem. We should also note that the garment features customized cuffs. A number of puck and stick marks cover the lower front, with additional marks and board burns over each sleeve.
